Vlamir Brandalizze highlights that the overwhelming performance has raised the year's accumulated total to a historic mark of 3.1 million tons, generating a flow of foreign exchange that has already exceeded 530 million dollars in just the beginning of this month. The replacement market in the cattle market is experiencing a period of strong appreciation, driven by the drastic reduction in the supply of animals at the end of the harvest season. With the calves being removed from their mothers, what is now seen on the auction tracks is an aggressive competition for quality lots, raising the price per kilo of live extra calves to levels close to 17 reais. Auctioneer Moacir Naves comments that this movement reflects not only seasonal scarcity, but also a strategic vision of the cattle rancher focused on the 2027 and 2028 cycle.
