The dashboard remains traditional, and despite having all the necessary information in an on-board computer, the layout remains stuck in the 20th century. In terms of space, nothing stands out, except for a truly meager trunk. The SUBARU CROSSTREK has only one engine: a 136-hp 2.0-liter boxer engine and a traditional hybrid system that redeems it for the coveted eco-label. At least here, it's been updated. But the power is lacking. The automatic transmission is a rather unbearable torque converter, with a lot of slippage, with a noise that increases when you push hard in exchange for little speed gain. Furthermore, at 120 km/h on highways and motorways, its noise is like something out of the past. Its limited engine power, its modest acceleration, and its high consumption—almost eight and a half liters per 100 km after a test of more than half a thousand kilometers on varied terrain—leaves no room for doubt.
