Being Duped by an Evil Brother

The plaintiff says the defendant agreed to store his tools but later gave them to his brother, who refuses to return them. He claims this is especially upsetting because the same brother allegedly stole all of his money a few years earlier. He is suing for the value of the missing tools. The defendant says the plaintiff’s brother came to retrieve the tools and claimed he worked with the plaintiff. He insists he had no idea the brothers had a falling out and says he never would have released the tools had he known about their history.
