Vigilant residents captured the felling on video and immediately filed a complaint with the Akimat. Local officials initiated an internal investigation. It turned out that the land in the residential area was privatized more than 20 years ago, the territory was resold several times, and in 2019, its intended use was changed to "retail." The current leadership of the regional center disagrees with this wording. The Akimat assured that the land will be returned to state ownership and the transaction will be annulled.
