We Saw an Avalanche on Byron Glacier Trail!

We thought this would be a simple glacier hike… until we saw an avalanche in the distance. We set out on the Byron Glacier Trail in Alaska for what we thought would be a simple hike, but the day quickly turns into something unforgettable. Along the trail, we spot animal tracks and take in incredible glacier views before witnessing something we never expected - an avalanche in the distance. Equal parts exciting and a little scary, it's a moment we won't forget.
