Sec-2(h). Sec-10 lays down the conditions of enforceability. Thus an agreement which satisfies fulfills all the essentials of contract. Example : “x” offers to sell his horse for Rs 5000 to “y” . “y” accepts the offer . 2.VOID CONTRACT Sec-2(g) :An Agreement not enforceable by law is said to be void. Such agreement is void from the very beginning ,i.e,. Void ab initio. An agreement to carry out an illegal act . Example : contract between a drug dealers and sellers. Contract with a minor . Sec-56: After the contract is made for some reason when the act becomes impossible or unlawful. 3.VOIDABLE CONTRACT An Agreement which is enforceable by law at the option of one or more of the parties to the contract. It is a valid contract in the eyes of law until and unless one party chooses to avoid that contract by proving in the court. Essential element of free consent is missing.
