Section 10 of the Indian Contract Act says, “all agreements are contracts if they are made by the free consent of the parties competent to contract, for a lawful consideration and with a lawful object and are not expressly declared to be void”. As given by Section 10, there are 6 essential elements. Which are: 1. Agreement 2. Free consent 3. Competency of the parties 4. Lawful consideration 5. Legal object 6.
