‘She got it just right’: Giorgia Meloni urges calm after Bologna protests

Political Analyst Joe Siracusa praises Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s call for left-wing protesters to show restraint in the wake of recent anti-police demonstrations in Bologna. “I think the Italian Prime Minister got it just right … it’s not very helpful to respond to this kind of incident by tearing the city down or going to war with the police,” Mr Siracusa told Sky News Digital Presenter Gabriella Power. “She did the right thing … she’s not just sticking up for the police because she’s the Prime Minister, she’s sticking up for the process.”
