For me, wealth is not about being able to buy designer clothes, eat at fancy restaurants and drive in expensive cars. Too many people buy things they don't need, for money they haven't made, to impress people who don't care. Of course, it is perfectly OK if that is what adds value to your life and I will by no means judge it. It just doesn't give me value, as I would have to spend countless hours working to make enough money to afford it. By contrast, I would rather spend my time on other things such as helping others with finances through YouTube, spending time with my family and friends, exercising, experiencing the world and much more. In the end, I feel rich when I feel free. I give in the video some examples of principles from the book "Rich dad Poor dad", which shows the difference in thinking between rich and poor and spices it up with a number of examples from my own life of differences in respectively. rich and poor way of thinking. I often hear many say, "I'm not interested in money" - yet they spend 8-10 hours of their day getting more. By contrast, I've spent money I wish I hadn't spent. My focus is therefore not to save, but value optimization is probably the best word I can come up with. I want to live exactly the life I want, and if that means renting a Ferrari for a day or buying discount biscuits for $ 5 instead of branded product, then that's what I want to do. Too many people live by societal norms and think about what others think, about their choices rather than just focusing on their own happiness.
