BERGAMO-CLUSONE, THE NIGHTMARE JOURNEY In the Seriana Valley, we can't take it anymore. This is the increasingly loud cry of alarm from those who live in the Seriana Valley and work in Bergamo. Every day, approximately three hours are lost between the round trip, with an average speed of around 25 km/h. Together with Valseriana News, Gessica Costanza, and Martino Bigoni, we traveled the Bergamo-Clusone journey meter by meter to observe the situation firsthand and propose some solutions. Because the quality of life of the people of Bergamo is deteriorating, entrepreneurs are seeing job opportunities decline, tourism is suffering, and politicians don't seem ready or willing to find solutions. The Martinella traffic light is proof of this: today, Monday, December 15th, the continuous green light will be activated, a solution that, however, had been promised immediately after the summer. Instead, almost three months have passed since the solution was first announced, saving drivers 3-4 minutes. Then, however, there's the rest of the route. The Montenegro highway remains too precarious a junction, and the new management by Anas has only partially improved things. The Scanzorosciate-Pedrengo-Torre de' Roveri junction is perhaps the most serious problem, affecting the entire route. In Albino, even the crafty ones get involved with the ups and downs, which create serious bottlenecks. In Cene, the double exit no longer makes sense. And then? The traffic lights at Colzate—with trials coming soon—and the Selva Curves, in addition to the problem of accidents. But we'll talk about that in the next episode. And you?
