We try things like lahem (lamb) mandi, suqaar and spaghetti from Somalia, foul from Sudan, tibs from Ethiopia, and vegetable dishes like shiro wot and misir wot. All with delicious versions of injera and jabati bread. I had an incredible time learning about the different dishes from Mahamud's early years growing up in different regions of East Africa.
