NAGAFF 2026: Omena Cash Launches Campaign as Dr Aniebonam Praises Ezisi Over NAGAFF Village

NAGAFF Elections 2026: Omena Cash Kicks Off Campaign as Aniebonam Lauds Ezisi for Securing NAGAFF Village By Geraldine Anyanwu Yesterday evening, the contest for NAGAFF’s 2026 Apapa chapter chairmanship took off with force as the Chairmanship aspirant, Chief Obinali Emeka, popularly known as Omena Cash, officially kicked off his campaign at the NAGAFF Village. Drawing a strong turnout of members, stakeholders and political heavyweights within the association, the compound provided meaning. For the first time, Apapa members gathered in their own permanent home as evidence of decisive leadership and years of struggle against rented facilities. NAGAFF Founder Dr. Boniface Okechukwu Aniebonam set the tone by commending the National President of Nagaff High Chief Emmanuel Tochukwu Ezisi for steering the association forward. The acquisition of NAGAFF Village, he stressed, was not luck. It was leadership, vision, and delivery a landmark achievement that ended years of instability and gave members a permanent base. Dr. Aniebonam also gave credit where it was due. He acknowledged Alhaji Ibrahim Tanko, National Coordinator of the NAGAFF 100 Per Cent Compliance Team, calling him his “third son” for his consistency and commitment. He equally recognised Dr Segun Musa, the longest-serving chairman of the Murtala Muhammed Airport chapter, for building structures whose impact still holds the chapter steady today. The atmosphere shifted when focus turned to the Apapa race. As Dr Aniebonam spoke about Omena Cash, the compound rang with chants of “Incoming Chairman". It was clear: members see strength, capacity and readiness in him. Alhaji Tanko went further, openly endorsing Omena Cash as his protégé. He made the case plain — the association must hand the future to tested, younger professionals with fresh ideas and the courage to act. Omena Cash, he said, embodies that new generation. Tanko urged members to rally behind a candidate who can defend the interests of freight forwarders at Apapa port without compromise. Presenting his manifesto, Omena Cash spoke with conviction. He pledged practical solutions to the real problems confronting freight forwarders. His promises were direct: strengthen the chapter’s influence, protect members’ welfare, enforce unity, and ensure members operate lawfully without harassment or intimidation from any quarters. He assured an administration built on inclusion, capacity building, and firm stakeholder engagement policies designed to improve the business climate and give members leverage. With leaders and members standing firm under the trees at NAGAFF Village as night fell, the campaign kick-off sent a clear message. Omena Cash is not just contesting. He is stepping forward with momentum, structure, and the backing of the association’s core leaders.
