The Most El Porto Day Ever

I made the wrong call. Instead of driving to Malibu or The Wedge, I woke up late and decided to stay close to home and film El Porto... and let's just say the waves had other plans. From endless closeouts and surprise cleanup sets to beginner wipeouts and a junior guard training session that perfectly captured the chaos El Porto is famous for, this turned into one of the most entertaining surf sessions I've filmed in a while. Not every day chasing waves ends with perfect surf, but sometimes the worst conditions make the best stories. If you've ever surfed El Porto, you'll probably recognize a few of these moments.
