Rachel's Bubble Bath - SV Cabo #106

A new day with a calm breeze as the sun rises and pokes through the clouds. The statistical magic of what we are experiencing right now cannot be explained through a random set of galactic mishaps. There is a design here which is amazingly beautiful and masterful. We visit Rachel’s Bubble Bath is situated on the northern end of Compass Cay. It is essentially a calm lagoon that is separated from the sea by a thin bar of rock. When the tides are high and or the seas are rough, the waves come crashing over the rocks into the lagoon, stirring up the water in the pool and creating a bubble-bath effect in the warm water. One of the things that makes this really great is that there are no vendors, no admission fee, no sales pitch, no commercial activity. Just a lagoon, some random rock wall and waves creating an experience to be enjoyed and remembered. We walked back to where the dinghy and where lagoon empties back into ocean. There is a narrow stream with lots of current. Floating out on the flow of the water out of the lagoon is a blast. All one has to do is float and the current carries us downstream. We have been having a lovely time and exploring new places like Rachel’s bubble bath and floating down stream in the current is just the kind of experiences that lighten the load of life.
