Is this hotel the cheapest but worst hotel I’ve stayed in? Is the Travelodge Cardiff Central as bad as the recent reviews suggest? It is close to the rail station and the shops, but is above a big bar and in the heart of the Cardiff nightlife area. Many of the reviews of the hotel mention the noise, but I am staying there on a Sunday. The reviews mention several other issues with this Travelodge, but are they true?
