"The portion sizes for meals here are literally insane," one visitor wrote in a post with thousands of upvotes. "I ordered a medium drink and it looks like a whole bucket." A British tourist compared his Chipotle burrito to a little baby. And one European summed up the entire genre in a single line: "Buc-ee's blew my mind, ranch dressing should be a human right, and the portion sizes are hilarious." Not everyone is buying the fairy tale — some British visitors insist portions aren't so different anymore, some suspect creators of exaggerating for clicks, and New York University researchers have traced America's ballooning portions back to the 1970s. But the fairest review of the tournament came from one visiting fan, caught between honesty and politeness: "the portions are a little bit larger, a lot more tastier... I don't want to be harsh, but yes, the food is fantastic here." Too much, too good, and impossible to stop talking about.
