Today marks the second round of Season 19 for the League Zero Formula Series presented by INCA Salsa as hosted on iRacing! We shall be taking a look back at all of the racing action which took place on Thursday 25th June 2026 with the aim of bringing it to you as if it were live! After our action-packed season opener, the grid heads to Germany for the Nürburgring Grand Prix circuit. Opened in 1984 with the aim of providing a far safer venue for motorsport events compared to the Nordschleife, its initial disparagement has gradually given way to a circuit that is now well-respected. With an extensive variety of medium and low speed corners spread across its 3.19 mile length, it shall offer a tough technical test for our drivers! In the Drivers’ Championship, Adam Merchant has set the initial pace with a win and a second place at Spa-Francorchamps giving him a six point lead over Finley Fitzsimmons who delivered his own very impressive recovery drive to take the Feature win. However, both will be wary of the pace of several drivers including Matt Spurrell; Nate Grucelski; and Antonio Bianchi who will all be eager to take to the top step of the podium in today’s races! In the Teams’ Championship, whilst they had a disastrous season opening Sprint, a double-podium for MSR Purple in the Feature has seen them take the initial lead by 11 points ahead of Squid Gang Racing. Can MSR Purple extend their advantage today with a more consistent set of results? Will Squid Gang Racing stop them from making an early break? Or will we see another team leap into the lead through a strong showing? For which of our drivers shall it be glory in Germany? Tune in and find out!
