I'm in the heart of San Salvador's Historic Center, documenting the old buildings and houses that are still standing. A restructuring of homes, businesses, and buildings is currently underway. With the revitalization process of the Historic Center, many spaces have been cleared, and we can now see buildings that were previously hidden from the public eye due to street vendors. Taking advantage of this, I've been taking photos and videos to document their transformation in 2025. With the creation of the San Salvador Historic Center Authority (APLAN), a law mandating the demolition of buildings that pose a risk to the population due to imminent collapse will come into effect in October 2025.
