My main preparation principle was simple: don't just solve the problems, but work on each audio until you fully understand them. I regularly solved practice tests, and after completing the tests, I always opened the transcriptions. If I encountered unfamiliar words or expressions, I wrote them down and memorized them. Then I listened to the recording again and checked my understanding. I found most of the materials on the "Reshu EGE" website, which has numerous listening exercises with transcriptions. I also actively used YouTube quizzes and listened to interviews in German. During the exam, one strategy really helped me: while the introduction was being played, I quickly scanned the questions and underlined keywords. This made it easier to navigate the recording and not miss important information. In addition to the exam exercises, I practiced with real-life materials: I watched interviews and news in German, trying to avoid subtitles. It's important not only to understand the meaning but also to pay attention to the pronunciation, intonation, and tempo of the native speakers. Another effective method is note-taking. I listened to videos, jotted down the main points, and sometimes even wrote down what I heard in detail. This developed my concentration and attentive listening skills. And, of course, listening cannot be improved without speaking practice. The more you speak German, the easier it becomes to understand other people's speech. Unbekannte Wörter und Ausdrücke habe ich notiert und gelernt. Anschließend habe ich die Aufnahme erneut angehört, um mein Verständnis zu überprüfen. Viele Aufgaben habe ich auf der Plattform „Reshu EGE“ gefunden, wo zahlreiche Hörverstehensübungen mit Transkriptionen verfügbar sind. Zusätzlich habe ich Hörtests auf YouTube gemacht und verschiedene Interviews auf Deutsch angesehen. Während der Prüfung hat mir eine Strategie besonders geholfen: Schon während der Einleitung habe ich die Fragen gelesen und wichtige Schlüsselwörter markiert. Dadurch wusste ich besser, worauf ich beim Hören achten musste. Neben Prüfungsaufgaben habe ich auch mit authentischen Materialien gearbeitet: Nachrichten, Interviews und Filme auf Deutsch – möglichst ohne Untertitel. Dabei sollte man nicht nur auf den Inhalt achten, sondern auch auf Aussprache, Intonation und Sprechtempo. Eine weitere hilfreiche Methode war das Mitschreiben. Ich habe Videos gehört und Zusammenfassungen oder Notizen erstellt. Manchmal habe ich sogar möglichst viel von dem Gehörten aufgeschrieben. Das trainiert die Konzentration und das genaue Zuhören. Außerdem sollte man nicht vergessen: Wer besser hören möchte, sollte auch selbst mehr sprechen. Hörverstehen und Sprechen entwickeln sich oft gemeinsam. Ich hoffe, dass meine Erfahrungen und Tipps euch bei der Vorbereitung auf das Hören helfen und euch zu einem erfolgreichen Prüfungsergebnis führen.
