The SKF TIH 030m induction bearing heater makes this process simple, safe, and fast. The TIH 030m combines high heat capability with easy portability. A compact design means that this unit weighs only 46 pounds, making it much lighter than some alternatives. This makes it easy to move around the plant to wherever you need it the most. The unit comes with a pre-set temperature mode set at 110 °C (230 °F) to help prevent bearing over-heating, but also includes manual temperature controls which let you dial in heat levels from 0 - 250 °C (32 - 482 °F). To protect users and equipment, the TIH 030m also features built-in thermal overheating protection. The TIH 030m also features a 2-step power setting and smaller yokes which allow for heating of smaller bearings safely and at lower power consumption. It is capable of heating a 28 kg (61.7 lb) bearing in just 20 minutes. The TIH 030m also includes an automatic demagnetization (degaussing) feature which is critical for induction heating since the process causes bearings to become magnetized. Users can also use the unit's time mode to heat components other than bearings. The TIH 030m is available in two versions: 230V/50-60Hz and 100-110V/50-60Hz.
