Prawning in a Creek - Cast netting Shrimp

Autum is Banana Prawns season here is Southeast Queensland and there is no better way of catching Prawns or shrimps then with a cast net. I was lucky enough to be out fishing when I noticed a large school of prawns. Thankfully I had a cast net on board and managed to catch around 4kg of prawns in about an hour. Taking some prawns (shrimp) home is always welcomed by the family and we cooked these up in a number of ways. Prawn pizza, traditional boiled and then used in salads or enjoyed with a few beers.
