Axioms Of Life

We all base our lives on assumptions, concepts that we think are true. Like gravity will pull us down, or murder is wrong, or hard work gets rewarded. We often form these into sayings that are called axioms of life, like life is not fair, God cares more about your character then your comfort, ignorance is the most expensive thing you have, trust and respect are earned not bestowed, etc. We base our lives on what we think is true, even though what we believe may, in fact be a lie. If the axioms we live by are true, then we live a better life than those whose axioms are based on a lie. So, it behooves us to be constantly reassessing our axioms to make sure we are following the truth. What I believed was true when I was 12 was different than what I believed to be true when I was 22, was different from what I believed to be true at 72. This teaching examines many true axioms of life and even exposes some that are false. The goal of this teaching is to encourage examination of our life assumptions to help us route out the lies and embrace the true axioms of life. Visit our website at www.cecmessiah.org.
