Together SC’s 2026 Annual Meeting brought nonprofit leaders, partners, and members together virtually to reflect on the past year, hear key organizational updates, and look ahead to the future of South Carolina’s nonprofit sector. During this gathering, Together SC’s Board of Directors, staff, and Peer Network leaders shared updates aligned with our strategic priorities to convene, advocate, and partner in support of a stronger nonprofit network across the state. The meeting also featured a keynote presentation from Sam Cooper, PhD, of the George Dean Johnson, Jr. School of Business at the University of South Carolina Upstate, who presented the 2026 South Carolina Nonprofit State of the Sector Report. This presentation highlighted the latest data on the size, scope, and economic impact of South Carolina’s nonprofit sector, including employment, wages, revenue, assets, workforce share, and the sector’s continued role as one of the state’s largest industry sectors.
