I took a scouting trip deep into Kisatchie National Forest in Louisiana to see what the area really has to offer — and I ended up finding something I did not expect. This wasn’t a full camping trip, just a chance to explore forest roads, test Prospector (my Jeep Gladiator), and hopefully mark a few potential campsites on OnX Offroad. What we found… was an absolute gem of a spot. From steep climbs and tight tree tunnels to peaceful lakeside views, Kisatchie surprised me in the best way.
