Koh Kood (Koh Kut) sits at the far eastern edge of the Gulf of Thailand, just off the coast of Trat Province and it's everything the more famous Thai islands used to be before the crowds arrived. Think crystal clear water, untouched jungle, empty beaches, and locals who still actually want to talk to you. We arrived on the Boonsiri Ferry from Koh Mak and spent several days riding motorbikes, chasing sunsets, swimming in waterfalls, and eating some seriously good smoked BBQ at a hidden gem restaurant run by a European family.
