Amazing Metal Detecting Finds Shown To The F.L.O

We recently met up with our F.LO (finds liaison officer) at the local museum to hand in some of our Metal Detecting finds that were found in 2022 and 2023. Some of the finds were classed as treasure and Mr Tweeds Bronze Age fragments also constituted as a hoard. Hopefully this gives you an idea of what its like when visiting the F.L.O and what is involved when handing over your finds.
