Regional tournaments are underway across Japan in preparation for the National High School Baseball Championship, the Summer Koshien Tournament. The tournaments are seeing some major upsets, with seeded teams being eliminated early, resulting in heated competition. My favorite team, Yokohama Sogakukan, was the top seed but was eliminated in the second round. However, my alma mater, Hakodate Daiyuto, has advanced smoothly to the fourth round. Today (July 13th), they will face Hokkai, the top contender for the championship. How will the young Hakodate Daiyuto team, mainly composed of first and second-year students, fare against Hokkaido's powerhouse, Hokkai?
