{Super-Eco Mode} Go-Ahead London Enviro 400 Trident ZF w/ Kickdown shows Various Shifting Ranges

Here's a Trident which slightly differs from the rest, we have the unique-coloured EN1, which at the time seemed to have a slightly different gearbox setup compared to most other ENs in the fleet. Akin to First Essex's SN58 plate Tridents, this bus was capable of upshifting earlier than the usual mode, at levels an Eco-Life gearbox would shift, regardless of having Kickdown enabled. This was definitely something to capture and as you will hear, there are several clips where the driver accelerate with minimum throttle, allowing the bus to coast through to 5th gear effortlessly. Other clips show the bus, downshifting two gears in a row as the gearbox knows best! 😉 I definitely think this is a well-economical setup as it can be even more fuel efficient through the city, and of course with the kickdown function still being present, can deliver power where needed!
