Pikeminnow Bounty Fishing: A REAL Peek at the Grind

Paid to fish? Yes. But there's more to it than you'd think. Welcome to Columbia Bounty Fishing. This was my first Northern Pikeminnow trip of 2026, and I wanted to show the side of bounty fishing social media usually skips over. Everyone posts giant fish counts and nonstop action. What you don’t see are the long stretches with no bites, changing locations, changing tactics, and wondering if the fish are ever going to turn on. Opening weekend brought equipment problems, slow fishing, lots of exploring, and eventually 38 fish on the board. Not incredible numbers, but a respectable start and an honest one. In this video I talk about: • Northern Pikeminnow Sport Reward Program ( pikeminnow.org ) • First trip results from 2026 • Tips for maximizing feeding windows and a peek at my bait selection • Real expectations for bounty fishing If you’re interested in Pikeminnow fishing and want realistic results, fishing tips, and Columbia River adventures, subscribe and follow along.
