NEW DELHI TO PRAYAGRAJ : FULL TRAIN JOURNEY : 12276 NEW DELHI - PRAYAGRAJ HUMSAFAR EXPRESS : INDIA'S FASTEST HUMSAFAR EXPRESS The 12275 / 12276 Prayagraj Junction railway station - New Delhi Humsafar Express (also known as Prayagraj Humsafar Express) is a Superfast Express train of the Humsafar Express category belonging to Indian Railways - North Central Railway zone that runs between Prayagraj Junction railway station and New Delhi in India. Earlier it used to run as 12275/76 Allahabad - New Delhi Duronto Express of Duronto Express category from 9 February 2010 to 14 September 2019 before being converted to Humsafar Express. It is operated as train number 12275 from Prayagraj Junction to New Delhi and as train number 12276 in the reverse direction serving the states of Uttar Pradesh and Delhi. It is the only long distance train in India with zero commercial halts between its origin and destination. Earlier the 12275 / 76 Allahabad - New Delhi had Duronto Express Coaches. This Train is now replaced with Prayagraj Junction railway station - New Delhi Humsafar Express with effect from 13 September 2019. The train comprises 15 3-tier AC, 4 Sleeper LHB coach along with one generator cars at each end. It has two screens in each coach displaying information about upcoming stations and passenger awareness. It is also equipped with CCTV cameras in each coach to ensure passenger safety. It is the 1st Humsafar Express which is having Sleeper Coaches since Humsafar Express is a full AC 3 Tier Train. These are state of the art coaches and are superior to the previous rake of Duronto Express which is now removed on railways exercise of upgradation and giving passengers a more convenient travel on peak routes. The 12275 / 12276 Prayagraj Junction railway station - New Delhi Humsafar Express has one Technical Halt at Tundla Junction Where Bookings are not allowed. (The halt is only for Crew Change) between Prayagraj junction railway station and New Delhi New Delhi railway station (station code: NDLS[1]) is the primary railway hub for the Indian capital, New Delhi, and an integral part of Indian Railways. Situated in Central Delhi, approximately 2 kilometers north of Connaught Place, the station features 16 platforms with entrances at Paharganj (platform 1) and Ajmeri Gate (platform 16). It is also served by the New Delhi metro station. Along with Old Delhi railway station, Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station, Anand Vihar Terminal, and Sarai Rohilla Railway Station, it is one of the five primary railway stations catering to Delhi state, while the additional stations, such as the Bijwasan railway station, are also being developed. The station holds the record for the largest route relay interlocking system in the world. The station serves as the primary originating junction for the Rajdhani Express, Shatabdi Express, Vande Bharat Express, Amrit Bharat Express, Mahaparinirvan Express Buddhist circuit train, several luxury tourist trains such as the Palace on Wheels, Royal Rajasthan on Wheels, and Maharajas' Express have itineraries that begin and conclude at New Delhi Railway Station. The station accommodates a total of over 400 unique trains, with 13-23 trains per platform per day, including over 250 passenger trains every day, ad the rest being cargo trains. Delhi-Ahmedabad high-speed rail corridor is under construction. New Delhi–Mumbai main line and Howrah–Gaya–Delhi line (part of Diamond Quadrilateral and New Delhi–Chennai main line) run through here, Prayagraj Junction (station code: PRYJ), formerly and colloquially known as Allahabad Junction, is a major junction and railway station on the Howrah-Gaya-Delhi line,Howrah–Delhi main line, Prayagraj–Mau–Gorakhpur main line and Howrah–Prayagraj–Mumbai line. It is the headquarters of the North Central Railway zone. It is located in Prayagraj in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It serves Prayagraj and the surrounding areas. Prayagraj is amongst the top hundred booking stations of Indian Railway. The station has two entry sides i.e. City Side to the south and Civil Lines Side to the north. The railways make special arrangements for the huge influx of pilgrims for the Kumbh Mela at Prayagraj. Prayagraj Junction is an 'A' grade railway station. It furnishes 3 double-bedded AC retiring rooms, 9 double-bedded non-AC retiring rooms, a 20-bedded dormitory and Wi-Fi for the comfort of passengers. The North Central Railways (NCR) have introduced airport like boarding facility so that the passengers will be issued boarding pass to avail facilities at the junction from new state of the art check-in counters.
