First Cutting Hay Is Finally In the Barn

First cutting of 2026 is finally wrapped up and the hay is in the barn. In this video we’re loading and stacking round bales using our Kubota MX5800 tractor, front end loader bale spear, and 3-point bale spear. After a long few days of cutting, tedding, raking, and baling, it’s time to beat the weather and get everything under cover before any rain moves in. This is small acreage hay making using older equipment and a one-man setup — showing that you don’t need brand new machinery to get the job done.
