I wake up in Imst, ready for another challenging day on the Via Claudia Augusta. Challenging but beautiful, as the scenery continues to amaze, following the Inn River through mystical forests and verdant fields, postcard perfect alpine villages and the sweet sound of cowbells ringing through the valleys. I make a brief visit to a lonely thousand year-old border fortress, hike-a-bike up steep gravel, and make the final push over Norbertshohe Pass before rejoining Julianna in Nauders.
