According to IBGE data released in May, Brazil has over a million agricultural establishments and accounts for 28.4 million jobs, equivalent to 26.3% of all employment in the country. The vast majority of these workers are assisted by a network of 5,092 rural unions spread across the national territory. In an interview with Giro do Boi, agricultural engineer, cattle rancher, and president of the Campo Grande Rural Union, José Eduardo Monreal, detailed how the institution—which celebrates 75 years of history serving the municipalities of Campo Grande, Corguinho, and Rochedo—transformed bureaucratic obligations into real tools for profitability and security. The institution aggressively expanded its service portfolio, now offering its more than 400 members a complete package that combines integrated accounting, specialized legal advice, health protection agreements, and highly innovative technological projects at a very accessible cost.
