Gear Cutting Work Holding: Turning a Custom Mandrel on the Metal Lath

I have a gear cutting job to make a special gear for a Bridgeport milling machine head. The viewer who I am making this for turned the gear blank for me on his lathe and then sent me the gear to cut using a dividing head on my Kearney & Trecker 2H Horizontal Milling Machine. In this first video, I will show how I made a custom mandrel to hold the gear blank while cutting the gears.
