Hello Friends. Welcome to "Textile Ride" Topic: Web formation | Non-woven fabric | Types of web formation | Textile Ride | Urdu/Hindi Web Formation: Orientations of fibers length wise or width wise as known as web formation. The fibers is oriented for to bound the web and make non-woven fabric. Methods of making web: 1. Dry laid web: The dry laid web is basically carding web. when the cylinder of carding throw the fibers on the doffer proper speed so the doffer snatch these fibers continuously & make web from it. Here is no any chemical or water involve that's why its known as dry laid web. 2. Wet laid web: The fibers disperse in water by dispersing agent in the tank & then fall down it on the conveyer belt (Perforated) which move at specific speed. Now the water is move out by perforation and the fiber lay down on the belt which make web continuously. The thickness and thinness is adjust by the speed of conveyer belt. 3. Melt laid web: The synthetic polymer which is petroleum based extruded from the spinneret on the surface of conveyer belt in the solution form which make web or film. After the web making the dryer section dry it to fix this web and make fabric. In this case the belt is not perforated. 4. Melt blown web: The melt blown web method is same as melt laid web but the difference is to extrude the polymer with high velocity of air which make good and high oriented web. 5. Air laid web: The fibers is dispersed with air stream and then streak on the perforated drum. Now the air is gone through perforation and the fibers lie on the surface of drum which make the web. The drum is continuously rotating which making the web continuously. All these are the methods of manufacturing the non-woven web.
