I made half the quantity, which gave me 15 melt-in-your-mouth and deliciously fragrant Tcharek Msaker. Ingredients: *** For the dough: 500 g flour 250 g butter or smen (clarified butter) 1 pinch of salt 1 tbsp powdered sugar 1 tsp vanilla extract 80 ml orange blossom water (adjust according to the dough's texture) *** For the filling: 300 g almonds 80 g sugar 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 tbsp butter 3 to 5 tbsp 1 tablespoon orange blossom water (or a mixture of water and orange blossom water) *** For the syrup: 1 glass orange blossom water (or a mixture of water and orange blossom water) 1 tablespoon flour 1 tablespoon powdered sugar The syrup doesn't need to be heated; simply mix all the ingredients together. Powdered sugar for decoration Instructions: 1️⃣ Mix the dough until it is soft and smooth. 2️⃣ Prepare the filling by mixing all the ingredients until you have a smooth, slightly moist paste. 3️⃣ Shape the gazelle horns (Tcharek Msaker): a little dough, a little filling, then form small crescents. 4️⃣ Bake at 170°C (340°F), keeping a close eye on them: they should be baked just until the filling remains soft. 5️⃣ Drizzle the cookies with syrup and dust with powdered sugar for the final decoration.
