La synesthésie dans l'art : Patricia Zazzali-Brentini at TEDxLausanne
http://www.tedxlausanne.org. Patricia Zazzali-Brentini, a graduate in Art History, French Literature, History, and Film History, has shared her passion for art for over 20 years as a lecturer at the Hermitage Foundation in Lausanne (http://www.fondation-hermitage.ch), as well as through travel and lectures as part of her school, L'Art de Voir (The Art of Seeing). Did you know that we have all experienced synesthetics at some point? Some retain this ability to perceive multiple sensations simultaneously, like many artists. When they paint colors and shapes, they hear music, see textures, or smell fragrances. Their creations are dazzling and captivating displays. Patricia Zazzali, herself a synesthetic, takes us on a truly extraordinary artistic journey. ------------------------------------------- www.tedxlausanne.org. Did you know that we have all been synaesthetic at one point? Some keep this feature of multiple simultaneous perceptions and, like many artists, when they paint colors, or shapes, they hear music and see or feel textural perfumes. Their creations are flamboyant fireworks and bewitching. Patricia Zazzali herself is such an artist and takes us on a quite extraordinary artistic tour. ------------------------------------------- In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations).
