Ep 5 Day 1 in Lonavala (Maharashtra), Pawna Dam, Shaila Phase homely food Lonavala

Lonavala is a very famous hill station near Mumbai and Pune.. You can visit Lonavala any time of the year but its beauty is best realised during monsoon time. It is located at a distance of 92 km from Mumbai airport and 68 km from Pune. Lonavala is famous for its waterfall and lush green mountains during the rainy season. Lonavala is also famous for varieties of chikki (Jaggery+different types of nuts). This video was shot on 23 nov 2022 We started our day from Kalyan railway station to reach Lonavala. We did this journey on the train. After reaching Lonavala we travelled to our hotel MTDC Karla which is 8.3km from Lonavala railway station by taxi in 500Rs. We went to see Pawna dam in the afternoon which is 28 km from MTDC Karla. We did boating in Pawna lake for Rs 200 per person For lunch we went to Shaila phase homely food and tried both veg and non veg dishes. Taste was nice and worth visiting. After having lunch we went to see some famous tourist spots like rajmachi point and tigers point to see the sunset.
