Sussex Non-League Podcast - episode 45 | with Worthing FC chairman Barry Hunter

Matt Pole and Sussex sport guru Steve Bone are joined by Barry Hunter, chairman of the newly-crowned National League South champions Worthing FC. Barry has been chairman at Woodside Road for six years, during which time the club have risen from the Isthmian Premier to where they are now - about to take their place in the top tier of English non-league football. Barry was born and educated in Worthing and after gaining a business degree at the University of Aston has enjoyed a fruitful career in sport business. He was managing director of Adidas UK & Ireland, Belgium and Holland and did deals with - among others - David Beckham, Tottenham, Liverpool and British Olympics Association and launched the adidas Predator boot. He played football for England Universities and Worthing U18s and his dad Roy Hunter was 30 years a club volunteer.
