We left Hiva Oa and the anchorage of Hanaiapa to go to the island of Ua Pou to meet the only chocolate maker in Polynesia. Manfred, a German who has lived in Polynesia for several years, makes chocolate with the beans from his cocoa trees. It is delicious and contains no additives or preservatives. After that, we went to the island opposite Nuku Hiva, the capital of the Marquesas and having the most rolling anchorage of the entire archipelago. We never stayed more than 3 days! The last island of our stay in the Marquesas is Tahuata which has the most beautiful anchorage of the archipelago. We went there 5 times!
