Kia Carnival vs. Peugeot Traveller – our 2021 test review of two large family cars for transporting five or more passengers, both assembled in Russia. The prices for the Kia Carnival and Peugeot Traveller aren't exorbitant, as would be the case with German models. The Kia Carnival costs approximately 3.5 million rubles, while the top-of-the-line Peugeot Traveller Long trim costs 3.4 million. The Korean version has a 199-horsepower 2.2-liter diesel engine under the hood, achieving 6.5 liters of diesel per 100 kilometers (6.5 liters per 100 km) in the city. It also comes with a classic, nearly indestructible automatic transmission. The French version, on the other hand, has a 150-horsepower 2.0-liter turbodiesel and a Japanese 6-speed Aisin automatic transmission. It offers slightly less power and slightly worse aerodynamics due to its higher height. But the prices are similar, and the Peugeot Traveller can be had with all-wheel drive.
