"Clockwork" | SSD The Timeless Dance | Evil Rams

❥ Hi there! Routine loosely based on “The Masque of the Red Death” by Edgar Allan Poe. Time is of the essence; a mask does not hide the red. Two lost dancers spot each other from across the room. She strikes, first her husband, then his wife. He offers the dance, and she doesn’t decline. The red awakens from its place on the floor. As the final tune plays out and the clock strikes ten, he does the same and ends her story here. Horrified and relieved, he joins the red as it was meant to be - a mask of his own face, a masque of his own fate. The clock hands raise to the sky. It chimes again twelve times.
