MIX Voice, What You're MISSING!

Step 1. Understanding that there are two major resonance chambers, and that THERE IS NO VOCAL BREAK OR TWO VOICES (head & chest). There is just a shifting of where the higher and lower notes want to resonate, and where those overtones. These overtones and resonance pockets occur almost like the harmonics on a guitar occur. It's our job to find those spaces within ourselves. Step 2. Build your head resonance tones to be just as natural an area of your range to sing in as your chest resonance tones. This step takes A LOT of time and practice (often years) as most people spend their whole lives resonating sound in their chest. Learning to coordinate and hit all of the overtones in order to resonate a powerful sound in the head is like building 6 pack abs from a beer gut, takes a lot of time and dedication. Step 3. Learn where the resonance shifts are on each vowel and note in your range and memorize those feelings so that you know where to resonate each note therefore eliminating any "break" area.
