Ajmal Ahlam - Great perfume with 3 Caveats - Review & 6 Week Maceration Journey

Ahlam by Ajmal is a wonderful creation. It opens with a blast of spices and is then like a warm envelope of goodness wrapped around you. Ahlam, which means dreams or visions perfectly defines this perfume. It sets you into a calm, relaxed mood. However, it is not so immediately out of the box - it takes time to get to this level of performance. Like all perfumes, this one starts maturing or ageing from the moment you open it. The transformation of this one is quite drastic though - from being a smooth textured perfume, it converts into a spice bomb in the opening. It is said to be inspired by Dior Sauvage Elixir, however, I have not tried that so I cannot comment upon that. It is indeed one of my favorite perfumes, however, with 3 caveats.
