It's Finally a Truck Again! | Datsun 521 G35 Swap

The project finally looks like a truck again! In this episode with some help from Grant my 1969 Datsun 521 build, I reach one of the biggest milestones yet: setting the original cab onto the bare Infiniti G35 chassis for the first time. After countless measurements, cutting, and test fitting, it's finally possible to see how this wild chassis swap is coming together. This build combines the classic body lines of a 1969 Datsun pickup with the suspension, drivetrain, and chassis from an Infiniti G35. The plan is to power it with a Nissan VK56 V8, creating a lightweight sleeper that's unlike anything else on the road. There's still plenty of fabrication ahead before everything sits exactly where I want it, but seeing the cab on the chassis is a huge step forward.
