Geniale E-Bike-Tour am Millstätter See in Kärnten mit Sprung vom 10-Meter-Turm

A summer day on Lake Millstatt in Carinthia, Austria: E-bike tour to the Star Balcony with a lakeside walk. Rowing trip to the south shore and cooling off with a jump from the 10-meter diving board. A few wisps of fog still hang over the water. But the weather forecast promises improvement. The water temperature already feels very warm despite the clouds. Instead of jumping in, we first rent e-bikes and head up towards the Star Balcony. To reach the famous viewing platform, we first zip along the shore. Sometimes right at water level, then again a little higher. Depending on the sunlight, the color fluctuates between deep blue and light turquoise. With the lake always to our right, we continue pedaling. Then it's a steep climb. First along a busy road and later, more gently, along asphalt. Thanks to the motor, the climb is quick and easy. A little later, we reach the Star Balcony on the eastern shore. This is a platform from which you can not only observe the stars in the evening, but also enjoy sunrise and sunset, and simply the view over the lake. This way, we can see Lammersdorfer Berg, Goldeck, and the Staff. You can finish the bike tour with a cycle around the lake. This takes about 2 hours for experienced cyclists. There are also comfortable benches along the way for resting and relaxing. Back in Millstatt, we swap the e-bike for a rowboat. We paddle to the southern shore. It takes about 20 minutes to a cozy bay. We also have a picnic basket on board. Rowing tips: Don't row too hard and don't dip the oars too deeply into the water. Instead, lean forward, stretch your arms, and let the oars glide slowly through the water. On the other shore, we finally get a peek into the picnic basket. We've brought all sorts of regional delicacies. Cheese, ham, salami, sparkling wine... everything's there. Then we enjoy the peace and quiet in the bay and savor everything on a wooden bench overlooking the lake. After all that relaxation, it's time for a bit of action. A jump from the 10-meter diving board at the Millstatt lido awaits me. I'm standing there all alone. It's pretty high. So close your eyes and go for it. 3... 2... 1... jump.
