Sakon Nakhon to Chiang Rai (Thailand) by motorbike during fuel shortage (March 2026)

Highlights of a motorbike ride from Sakon Nakhon in Isaan (Southeast Thailand) to Chiang Rai (Northern Thailand). The trip route passes through Loei, Nan, Chiang Rai and Phayao. Round trip distance is 2000km. Filmed in March 2026 early into the war against Iran. Fuel is beginning to become scarce in Thailand. There are long queues for diesel and petrol (filmed), and some petrol stations are closed. I have an accident caused by a stray (soi) dog, but this is not filmed. The dog was OK and walked away!
