“Hidden Seaside Secrets?! Sutton-on-Sea to Skegness Road Trip in Our Camper Van 🚐” #travelvlog

Join us on a relaxed but fascinating camper van adventure as we explore the charming Lincolnshire coast—from Sutton-on-Sea to Skegness! We begin our journey in Sutton-on-Sea, where we park up our WildAx camper van and step into a true treasure trove—Nick’s antique shop. Packed floor-to-ceiling with collectibles, curiosities, and hidden gems, it’s a place you could easily spend days exploring. The owner, who has run the shop for over 40 years, even shares stories of visits from the TV show Antiques Road Trip. After squeezing our way through the maze of antiques, we spot a classic Leyland bus before heading to a local bakery for a well-earned sweet treat. At the seafront, things take an interesting turn… we discover the legend of a submerged forest hidden beneath the sea—only visible at very low tide and rarely seen, even by locals. We also take a look at the beach huts and compare them to those in Southwold and Wells-next-the-Sea. From there, we continue our journey toward Skegness, passing through Ingoldmells and the iconic Butlin’s Skegness—a British holiday destination that’s been welcoming visitors since 1936. In Skegness, we take a stroll around the boating lake, explore the seafront, and talk about how the arrival of the railways in the 19th century transformed the town into a popular seaside resort. Of course, no visit would be complete without mentioning the famous Jolly Fisherman! It’s a laid-back, slightly quirky, and very British seaside day out—complete with laughs, history, and a few unexpected discoveries. 👉 Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more camper van adventures! #SuttonOnSea #Skegness #VanLifeUK #Lincolnshire #UKSeaside #CamperVanLife #TravelVlogUK #HiddenUK #BritishSeaside #RoadTripUK #AntiqueShop #Butlins #Ingoldmells #UKTravel #CoastalLife
