Footwork for Street Fighting
In this video I go over different footwork patterns to use for fighting, some are more geared for the ring or sport fighting , while others are more of an advantage for street-fighting. I definitely have a preference when it comes to street-fighting, so watch the video as I break down the footwork for the street and see which one you would use. Remember, fighting on a flat surface free of garbage is a lot different than on the street or alley. So learn the advantage of using specific footwork for street-fighting and gain an edge when attacked. In the video I go over three distinct footwork patterns but there is a fourth which I forgot to show and that is a combination of flat and slightly raised, I think this one is excellent for the street-fighter or pugilist. Once you view the video get out and start to practice your footwork and pressure test it by having a partner strike you with Thai pads, focus mitts or boxing gloves and see how stable and mobile you can be. Train safe...
