Welcome to a morning in the Ukrainian countryside. This is a relaxing, wordless journey through our daily life on the farm, accompanied only by the natural sounds of nature and short text captions explaining our routine. Chapters: A Beautiful Rural Morning: Start the day with the soothing sound of birds singing and a view of our blooming garden flowers before the summer heat kicks in. Tending to the Watermelon Patch: Join us in our field. Watermelons and melons are our small family business. Watch how we clear weeds around the plants. I meticulously hand-weed near the roots, while my husband uses our mini tractor (walk-behind motoblock) to rototill the soil between the rows. Planting Petunias in the Yard: As the sun gets hot, I move into the shade near the house. Here, I transplant beautiful petunias that I grew myself from seeds into the ground and decorative pots to make our courtyard feel even more beautiful, cozy, and welcoming. My Cozy Plant Corner: Watch me repot dwarf basil into larger planters. I'll also show you our cozy garden corner by the gazebo, featuring fresh cilantro, various lettuces, and miniature pepper plants with tiny peppers already growing. Harvesting Lettuce: Harvesting fresh, crisp Lola Concord lettuce grown right in a patio pot, followed by a thorough wash. Magical Pink Sunset & Evening Lights: End the day with a breathtaking, unusual pink sky. Watch the calming process of watering the flowers at dusk as our garden night lights gently turn on.
